License agreement for ebooks sold on this site

  1. Grant of License. Piaw Na Publishing, LLC has authorized you to download one copy each of the electronic form of the book (PDF and Pocket Reader).
  2. The contents of the ebook are owned by Piaw Na Publishing, LLC and is protected by United States and International Copyright and other intellectual property laws. Piaw Na Publishing reserves all rights in the book not expressedly granted herein. This license and your right to use the ebook will terminate automatically if you violate any part of this agreement. In the event of termination, you must destroy the original and all copies of the ebook.
  3. Limited Warranty. Piaw Na Publishing warrants that the files containing the ebook a copy of which you are authorized to download are free from defects in the operational sense that they can be read by a PDF reader or Mobipocket Reader respectively. THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY, PIAW NA PUBLISHING, LLC MAKES AND YOU RECEIVE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR IN ANY COMMUNICATION WITH YOU, AND PIAW NA PUBLISHING, LLC SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY OTHER WARRANTY INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. PIAW NA PUBLISHING, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE OPERATION OF THE EBOOK WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE. If the ebook was purchased in the United States, the above exclusions may not apply to you as some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In addition to the above warranty rights, you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
  4. For the purposes of licensing, you may use only one copy of the book at a time. That means only one person can read the book at a time (just like with a paper book).
  5. You may make backups or copy electronic copies of the book to any number of devices for reading purposes. However, the devices may not be used simultaneously to read this book.
  6. You may resell the license to this ebook. To do so, send e-mail to resale@piaw.net and provide the e-mail address of the person this book is sold to. The license will then transfer to the purchaser, and you must destroy all copies of the book (including any backups) that you have made.

Plain English Summary

The book(s) sold here are DRM-free. You may make backups, copy them onto other electronic devices for reading, or otherwise make use of them. You are authorized to share them with other people, provided that you can guarantee that no more than one person is reading the book at a time. Finally, you may resell the ebook provided you delete all copies from your possession. The person you sell the ebook to must agree to the terms of this license as well.
